Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. If this is your pet’s first visit with us, please bring a current vaccine record and previous medical records. If the pet is new to you, please bring in a fresh fecal sample.

Surgery patients are asked to drop off the morning of their surgery, between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. They must be fasted for surgery – no food after midnight. For your convenience, we can schedule a ‘drop off’ appointment for your pet. In these cases, you will drop off first thing in the morning and our veterinarians will examine your pet between appointments or at the time reserved for admitted patients. Once the veterinarian has evaluated your pet, a Licensed Veterinary Technician will call you to discuss diagnosis or recommendations.

Please make sure to be available by phone while your pet is with us so that we can take the best care of them. There is a fee for these appointments. For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that your pet is current on their Rabies and Distemper vaccines and also be on flea/tick prevention.

We require that all animals have had an exam within 1 year to dispense medication or to schedule technician appointments.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, animals must be on a leash or in a pet carrier before entering our waiting room or exam rooms. And although we know that your pet wants to make friends with other patients in the waiting room, please keep them from getting too close to other patients, especially without permission from that pet’s owner. Many animals are stressed just walking into the vet office and may feel threatened by another animal approaching.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, personal checks and CareCredit.
