Dr. Kayle Plummer was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Education at the University of Georgia. She went on to attend vet school at Ross University in St. Kitts and completed her veterinary education at Oregon State University. She then moved back to the east coast and completed an internship at Equine Reproduction Concepts in Amissville, Virginia where she became proficient in advanced reproductive techniques in mares and stallions. She quickly fell in love with everything Virginia has to offer and made the transition to small animal medicine. Though she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she particularly enjoys seeing new puppies and kittens and has a professional interest in animal reproduction. In her time outside of work, Dr. Plummer enjoys riding horses and hiking with her dogs Travis, a golden retriever, and Emmett, a yellow lab.
