Dr. Kelsey Clark grew up in New York in a family of veterinarians. She spent much childhood in an animal hospital watching her parents work, fueling her own passion and love for animals. Her journey started at the University of Maryland for her bachelor’s degree before returning to New York to attend Cornell University for her veterinary degree. After finishing vet school in 2017, Dr. Clark returned to the DMV area with her two dogs, cat and chinchilla. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, oncology, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Clark likes to stay active during her spare time. She was a gymnast for over 20 years, which she continued competitively through undergrad and veterinary school. While she recently stopped her own gymnastics career, she continues to coach gymnastics classes in her spare time. When she’s not working or teaching she enjoys biking, traveling, hiking with her dogs, and playing tennis.
